The use of studded tire is permitted between October 15 and May 1 for commercial vehicles whose gross weight does not exceed 3000 kg and for passenger vehicles and taxis provided that these vehicles are fitted with studded tires on both ends of an axle and, if they are equipped with studded tires on the wheels of the front axle, they also are on the wheels of the rear axle .
